Creating Printable Resources

1. Log into Freckle through Clever at https://clever.com/in/edisonwildcats.org

2. Once in your dashboard, select your subject's respective "content" section and go to the next step for your respective subject area below.

Math

3 - Math. In the table, click "Generate" under "Printable Resources" for the "Targeted Math Practice" row.

4 - Math. Pick a "Standards-Based Practice" you would like to assign and hit "Generate PDF"

5 - Math. Press Ctrl+P on your keyboard to print the page.

6 - Math. If you are saving these files as PDF, skip down below, instructions are provided for that process.


ELA

3 ELA.  Under the "Library" section, click "Assign".

4 ELA. Choose an article from the list. You can use the filters to narrow it down to something that fits your class.

5 ELA. Change the "Preview Article Level" dropdown to fit your targeted grade level.

6 ELA. Select the arrow next to "Print with answers". A dropdown will come up. Select "Print without answers"

7 ELA.  If you are saving these files as PDF, skip down below, instructions are provided for that process.


Social Studies and Science

3 SS+Science. Pick a Unit, and select "View Assignable Activities".

4 SS+Science. Look through the resources for what you'd like to assign. For "Activity Resources" items, you can simply click the button to open them and then download the PDF with the button at the top right corner.

5 SS+Science. For articles, click the "Assign Article Button". Once on the article page, be sure to set the "Preview Article Level" to the appropriate level for your class.

6 SS+Science. Then select the arrow next to "Print with answers" to open the dropdown and select "Print without answers".

Saving as PDF to send to us:

1. If you are attempting to create PDF resources to send to us for your COVID-19 take home resources, please select the "Save as PDF" option as your print destination.

Note: For Math, you may want to remove the last page. As it will contain the answer key.

2. Save the file somewhere easy to find (I recommend creating a folder for the lessons so that they can easily be dumped to Google drive to send to us) and be sure it is named as "Building-Subject-Grade-TeacherLastName-StartDateofAssingments"
Note: You can append a descriptor to the beginning or end of the file name so that you can save multiples of these. You can keep it as simple as adding a number after the file anme or give a one or two word summary of what the file contains. You just cannot have 2 files have exactly the same name.
