👥 Controlling Page Sharing

Once you are on your custom page, you can control who has access:

  • Sharing Settings: Change who the page is shared with at the top left of the page.
  • Targeted Sharing: This allows you to share with all your students or dial into a specific class.
    • Example: If your 5th-period class needs a specific resource for a project, you can create a separate page and only give them access to it, keeping it hidden from other periods.

➕ Adding Resources to Your Page

Adding resources is done by clicking the green Add button (+) in the bottom right of your page. Options include:

Option Function Notes
Categories Creates a folder within your page to organize resources.
Links Allows you to link to outside websites and resources. Requires URL, name, and optional custom icon (see section below).
Apps Allows you to add Clever applications that the District may not be pushing out.

Caution: Some applications have an additional cost and may not be utilized by the District.

When you select Links, a new dialog box will appear for configuration:

  1. Link (URL): Navigate to the resource in another browser tab, copy the URL from the address bar, and paste it into the top field of the dialog.
  2. Name: Enter the name you want the link to show as (e.g., "No Red Ink").
  3. Category: Use the drop-down menu to assign the link to a Category if you have created any.
  4. Icon: You have the ability to choose an icon.
    • You can use the basic icons Clever provides.
    • Custom Icon: For a more accurate icon, search Google Images, right-click on the image, and save it to your computer. Then, click the UPLOAD option in the icon selector and choose your saved picture. Clever will upload and use it as the link's icon.
