Using Conversations

Conversations:
Conversations are 2-way communication with staff, parents and students within the app. There are options for individual conversations, group messages, and bulk private messages,
- Navigate to Conversations in the dashboard, or find the button in the mobile app.
- Click New or Send Bulk Private Message to proceed
- New
- Title your conversation
- Select whether you want the conversation to be publicly joinable (we suggest leaving this unchecked always to manually control the participants of the conversation)
- Select your Participants. You can find the following in the list:
- Individual contacts for staff members, parents, and students
- Target list contacts with prebuilt groups for your classes
- Click the + next to a group in the Participants list to expand the list and allow you to remove individual members from the conversation.
- Create the conversation and start messaging
- All participants in the conversation will be able to post messages and view all messages in the conversation
- Send Bulk Private Message
- Select your Participants. You can find the following in the list:
- Individual contacts for staff members, parents, and students
- Target list contacts with prebuilt groups for your classes
- Add your message and attachments
- Click "Send Messages" when ready
- The app will send each person in the participants a private message with your content so that they can reply back to only you
